“Arts for Education” award reception February 102011-01-31Murfreesboro, TN—An awards reception will be held at the Murfreesboro City Hall Rotunda from 4-5pm, Thursday, February 10, for the Business Education Partnership’s “Arts for Education” art contest. Over 50 works were submitted for the contest and are currently on display in the rotunda.

Express Yourself Arts Conference2010-08-12Applications are now available for the Express Yourself Arts Conference (EYAC), an annual arts event for 9th-12th grade students in Rutherford County. This year’s conference will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010.
State Farm Donates $15,000 for Middle School Business Camp2010-06-01State Farm recently presented the Business Education Partnership Foundation at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce with $15,000 for the "State Farm Summer Business Camp", an entrepreneurial program directed by the BEP for middle school students finishing 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. The camp teaches students how to create their own businesses and present in a business plan competition. The camp is open to 40 students, and by the generosity of State Farm is tuition-free. Youth Leadership Rutherford 2009-2010 Graduates2010-05-14On May 5th, 31 students from 10 schools in Rutherford County graduated from Youth Leadership Rutherford, the Chamber of Commerce’s civic service and engagement program for high school juniors and seniors.
