Express Yourself Arts Conference
The Express Yourself Arts Conference is Rutherford County's only arts workshop conference for high school students. Held annually in the fall, the conference brings together professional artisans across Middle Tennessee for a day of leading workshops for Rutherford County high school students ranging from drawing to photography, improv theatre to painting. The day gives allows talent young artists to network wth their peers, learn from professionals, as well as receive information on arts-oriented careers and higher education. The conference is a collaborative effort of organizations in Rutherford County including the BEP, Read To Succeed, and Youth Empowerment Through Arts and Humanities (YEAH). It is sponsored by the generosity of local businesses and arts foundations.
