BEP/Nissan Teacher Mini-Grants

This program provides funding for teachers to use on classroom projects that represent ideas over and beyond their required curriculum.
These grants of up to $500 are given out each semester at an awards breakfast to honor grant recipients.
Grant applications are available online or through the Business Education Partnership at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce in August and January.
"I would like to thank you so much for offering this grant. It has allowed my classroom to become real. The students' education and classroom experiences have changed with the opportunity. Students no longer sit passively and wait for me to tell them every little detail; they are able to explore and analyze and make conjectures on their own. Thank you for helping me make a difference."
