BEP Nissan Teacher
The BEP Nissan Teacher Minigrant Awards help students learn the connections between classroom lessons and real-world careers based on those concepts. The generosity of Nissan enables BEP to award grants to teachers in the public elementary schools of the Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City School Systems who have submitted innovative approaches to teaching classroom lessons.
Since our founding in 1988, the Business Education Partnership Foundation (BEP) has been part of the education success story in Rutherford County. BEP Foundation’s mission of helping prepare students for the workforce addresses the reality of skill gaps, and equips students with the information they need to make purposeful, intentional choices about their careers.
According to an MTSU study, the average BEP Nissan Teacher Minigrant impacts 417 students in Rutherford County. Minigrants are awarded twice annually with grant applications open in January and September.
